The folding origami dawn
The child's hand strums the hyacinths
The golden highlight parade
Will unknowingly celebrate
The complete loss of civilization
Ice heavy branches outdoors
And soon ice heavy marionettes indoors
Frost on her father's glasses
Tar in her mother's lungs
Then the spool of cotton becomes iron ore
And she cries when the star goes out
And the coruscation covered the roaring dawn
And they all fade when the star goes out
And she'll decorate the bunker with paper swans
